Breast lift (mastopexy) essentially involves excision of excess skin of the breast to tighten and lift the breast (including
the nipple). It may involve some reshaping or repositionong of the underlying breast tissue.
As a result it always involves placing scars on the breast, as a minimum around the nipple, but frequently extending
down from the nipple and sometimes with a small horizontal scar beneath the breast.
